Isabelle Malique-Park is French, 50 years old, a mother of 2, owner and founder of the SUP School in Singapore. She is an adrenaline and an endorphin junky. She surfs, swims, rides motorbikes and runs marathons. But, overall her natural habitat is water and as evidence, she started surfing at the age of 10.
In a trip to France where she was back surfing her childhood waves, she saw the Stand Up Paddle boards at the line-up. Upon return to Singapore the idea slowly came to make use of those boards on flat water, for educational, fitness and environmental purposes and to add onto Singapore water sports growing landscape.
This way she hopes to expose Singaporeans and any residents of Singapore of all ages and nationalities to the beauty and simplicity of life on water. Isabelle is a certified life saver (Singapore Life Saving Society), a SUP certified instructor, Advisor and Instructor Trainer (Flat Water 1) with the Professional Stand Up Paddle Association or PSUPA in the USA. She carries with her a solid educational background for having worked and taught at local universities for over a decade.
She also participates in local and international Stand Up Paddle competitions and events.
